Be Baptised!

The Bible tells us that the next step for someone who has put their trust in Jesus is to get baptised. (Acts 2: 38, Matt 28: 19-20)

Here at Godfirst we believe in and practise full immersion, water baptism. We do this following Jesus’ example and as an act of obedience to Him. It is symbolic of us dying to our old way of life where we lived without Jesus and being raised to a new life where we give Jesus first place (Romans 6). If you would like to be baptised at Godfirst, we have regular Baptism Sundays and run a pre-baptism session each term. This gives everyone an opportunity to ask questions, be encouraged and understand more about baptism.
