We are committed to providing groups and places that reflect the love of God for children and young people. To this end we are believing for the following and our activities are helping to make it a reality.
As families we like to create time and space together to build community, if you would like to join the Whatsapp Group contact the church office.
First Steps is our parent/carer and pre-school group – we re-launched it in Sept 2021 after a long break because of COVID restrictions - we meet on Wednesdays at 9.30am-11am at The Runway, you are very welcome to come along.
On a Sunday evening those in Year 7+ chill out and have fun together – for more information on what we are doing see our events page or contact – you are so welcome.
Friday Mornings: This is an interactive story telling group for parents/carers and their toddlers and pre-schoolers. Join Sophie and others for a session of storytelling songs and time with older friends at Avon Reach Care Home - if you are interested in attending email in the first instance,
We have a group for our Year 11 and sixth formers that runs on a monthly basis usually on a Sunday evening, we just hang out together and talk about college, work, life and faith.
During church services on a Sunday Morning we usually run groups for the following age groups. The children are usually in for the 1st 15mins of the meeting with the rest of the church then go to their groups.

GodFirst is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. All of our 0-18s teams are required to undergo a DBS check (police check) and regular safeguarding training is provided for all workers/volunteers at GodFirst.
If you ever have any concerns for a child or vulnerable adult at GodFirst please contact Paul Cox, who is our designated Safeguarding Officer, or in his absence one of his deputies. The Deputy Safeguarding Officers are Sam Pink, Morné Smit, Kath Hudson. You can do this via email .
