Gift Day

Clocks Change

Remember that the clocks go forward on Saturday night!

Lunch together

THIS Sunday, 26th March, we are having lunch together after the service. We love hanging out together and building connection, so come along with your own lunch and bring a dessert to share with others. See you there!

Easter

Easter is a wonderful time to come together and celebrate all that Jesus has done, and is doing today! Here's what's happening:

Sun 2nd April: 9:30am Family Easter Egg Hunt, followed by an all age Easter service at 10:30am.

Good Friday: Christchurch Churches Together service, 11am @ The Bandstand @ The Quomps. Bring a chair & a picnic for afterwards.

Easter Day: Easter Celebration.

Duncan & Jo's Trip to Serbia

From March 31st – 3rd April, Duncan and Jo are going to a city called Niš in the south of Serbia to spend time with Vlada and Sonja. Jo will be spending time teaching some of the ladies, as well as investigating whether Rise may do something in Serbia later this year. Duncan will be teaching church leaders from the area, preaching at Vlada’s church on Sunday morning and another church, an hour away, on Sunday evening. Please pray for a super fruitful time.

Martin & Ali's Trip to Brazil

Our daughter Katie has been living in Brazil with Iris Ministries (Heidi Baker) for 5 years and we are off to stay with her at Easter, in Rio de Janeiro. This Iris base reaches out to the Jardim Gramacho rubbish dump community. You can find our more here: Rio de Janeiro - Iris Global
We will be joining in with her weekly schedule, meeting and encouraging her leaders and team, whilst also visiting people in her community. We also plan to have some holiday moments with her too.
Please pray that we are a massive blessing and encouragement to her and the team and that we hear God in the situations we are in. Katie has said to us to "just come ready'!! Thank you!

Be Baptised

Getting baptised is a key part of the journey in following Jesus. If you'd like to get baptised, the next baptisms are on Easter Day, Sun 9th April. For more information or to sign up, click here.

Thrive: Bootcamp

Thrive is launching a weekly fitness class for members of GodFirst. If you're 18 or over then this is for YOU! You will be led through 45-60 minutes of exercise, have great fun and tone that incredible body that God created for you.
