Youth at DTI
This week, the youth and youth leaders are at Dreaming the Impossible (DTI) camp in Staffordshire. Please be praying for them all to meet with God and for this to be a marking time for them - deepening their own relationship and walk with God.
Baptisms
If you've not yet been baptised and would like to be, we've got baptisms on Sun 16th August. We already have a number of people who'd like to be baptised, but if you're interested, please complete this form and someone will be in touch with you.
FORGED Men's Braai
All men aged 18+ are invited to our South African Braai on Saturday 8th August, 12pm at The Runway! This will an amazing opportunity to build friendships and eat great food! Feel free to invite a friend and let's all be there! Cost is £10. Sign up here.
Testimonies for Summer Series

Summer of Picnics
Join us for a picnic, after church, every Sunday in August, 12:30pm. Come to just one, or all of them. It's a great way to get time with others from GodFirst, eat lunch together, play games and build community. Mudeford Wood field is a short walk from The Runway, or limited parking is available.
Matthew King
Sadly, Matthew King, who some of you will remember from previous GodFirst days, recently passed away. Please be praying for his wife, Justyna and their 3 boys at this incredibly difficult time. A service of thanksgiving for his life will be at The Runway on Wed 26th August, 11am, followed by refreshments.
Change in Chair of Trustees
After a season of faithful leadership, our Chair of Trustees, Duncan Kemp, is stepping down from the role. We are thrilled to announce that Jon Aske will be stepping in as our new Chair of Trustees! Jon, along with his family, has been part of GodFirst for nearly three years. Bringing a wealth of experience in finance, operations, and charity governance, Jon is passionate about maintaining our vision, strengthening our operational efficiency, and serving our growing community. The outgoing Chair will remain on the board briefly to support a smooth transition. Please join us in thanking our outgoing Chair and praying for Jon as he takes on this new role!
Freelance Social Media Lead
We are excited to announce Harri Lee has taken on the role of freelance social media lead! Harri will be forming our online presence across various social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. We live in a digital age and need to reach unchurched people in as many ways possible, so this is one of those approaches. Look out for new content and snippets from our Sunday preaching as well as our Kingdom values.

As we're now into school Summer holidays, a number of the staff have annual leave planned. Please be patient and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
