Click on link below for activity sheet which has lots of ideas of games and rhymes and includes a template to make a split pin man. You can talk about what it would be like to be unable to move (play the sleeping lions game) and how it would feel to be able to jump up and praise God! Thank God together that nothing is too difficult for him.
Make the man and have fun moving the joints. Can you make him touch his head/toes/knees? Sing head, shoulders, knees and toes together. The man in the story wouldn't have been able to do that. But God changed his life by making him well. He could move and He praised God. How can we praise God with our body?
While your child is colouring, talk about the different people in the story. How do they feel at the start and at the end? What was the most exciting part of the story?
