Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever

Activities

• Ask an adult to look at some pictures with you from when you were born to now - and talk about the way you have changed! Think about the things you could not do when you were younger and what you can do now!

• Also, have you got a favourite toy at the moment? Maybe go and get it and tell someone in your family why it is your favourite. Think back a few months - maybe to when you were in the previous year at school - was this toy your favourite then, or has your favourite toy changed as you are growing older?

• Can you learn this verse and maybe put some actions with it too? If you can do that, please let us know so we can learn the actions too!

Jesus loved you yesterday, He loves you today and He will love you forever!

Jesus was with you yesterday, He is with you today and He will be with you tomorrow!!

As a way of remembering this, can you draw with a pencil a big tree and then use your fingers to do some finger painting to be the leaves - and make them brown, orange, yellow, green - just like the leaves on the trees now, because the trees are changing. This can then remind you that Jesus does not change - you could also write this verse onto your tree picture too.
