Lessons from the Burning Bush continues this week with a challenge - 'The Call to Surrender'.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. And Moses said, "I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned."

Exodus 3

There is much I can say about this section but for now I will focus on Moses' response to God's call. HERE I AM are dangerous words, but an opportunity to step into a world of adventure, sacrifice, purpose and so much more. Encountering His presence normally, if not always, is a call to surrender your life and step into His empowering kingdom.

When God reveals His presence, it is in order
to invite us into something greater than ourselves

Enjoy!

Much blessings,
Morné
