A current campaign is regarding the Home abortion consultation concluding on 26th February.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the law was changed in England to allow both pills for a medical abortion to be taken at home in the first ten weeks of pregnancy. This was initially set to last for two years, or until the end of the coronavirus pandemic, but Westminster is now consulting on making the change permanent. The DIY home abortion kit is obtained via a phone call and requires no examination by a health professional. It comprises two pills taken at home without medical supervision. This is, of course, not without risk.
