Exploring Baptism
Baptism is an important next-step for all followers of Jesus. If you would like to explore being baptised at GodFirst, we're running an Exploring Baptism session on Sun 8th March, during the Sunday morning service, in preparation for baptisms on Easter Sun 5th April. Click here to sign up.
Car Parking
Great news! - we’ve been able to secure 30 additional car parking spaces with a local business, so you may be directed there on Sunday morning. As we look to improve our facilities for all, in the coming weeks we will detail about how the parking flow will operate.
Saxon Sq Good Friday Service
Join other churches in Christchurch on Good Friday, Fri 3rd April, 11am, in Saxon Square to remember all that Jesus did on the cross. This is a great opportunity to be a light in the town. Bring a deckchair. In the event of wet weather, it will be at The Runway.
The Bereavement Journey

Concert of Friendship
On Tues 17th March, 7:30pm, we have the privilege of hosting this event for the town and the mayor - it would be brilliant to have lots of GodFirst people there. The Christchurch and District Band and the Orchestra of Schubart Gymnasium and Faltenrock, from Aalen, Germany are putting on a concert to celebrate 45 years of Town Twinning. It'll be a fantastic evening of music featuring 3 bands, over 80 musicians, featuring a massed bands finale. Click here for further information and tickets.
Create Conference
JUST 2 SPACES LEFT! Create 2026 is a brand new one-day arts conference for Christian visual artists. Sat 28th March, designed to inspire, equip, and release you into Spirit-led creativity. New Leadership Structure
We are delighted to have launched our new organisation on 1st March. This is an exciting step in our journey as a church family. If you haven’t already done so, please take some time to review the email that Duncan sent this week explaining the transition and the new SLT (Senior Leadership Team).
Gate 15 Café
Things are going well at Gate 15, we hope you like our new logo. We are open Wed - Fri, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Our plans are to open more often, once we have more volunteers - if you would like to join the volunteer team, please email Irene Warnock to arrange a visit. We would be delighted to hear from you.
