This Week

Prayer Meeting

God has called us to draw away with him and He is training us to live from a place of surrender and yieldedness, knowing that apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. This Sunday night (13th April, 7:30pm) we will gather again for worship and encounter, knowing that as we do this, we will receive strength and hear his heartbeat. See you there.

Maundy Thursday Communion

Martin & Ali’s and Rick and Deb’s Connect Groups are joining together on Maundy Thursday, 17th April, 7pm at The Runway to mark this special moment with a time of reflection and communion. You are all warmly invited to join with them - it will be a very informal gathering, ending around 8pm with an opportunity to share some hot cross buns together. Just turn up and bring hot cross buns to share.

Good Friday Service in Saxon Square

Join with other churches in Christchurch to mark Good Friday, 11amin Saxon Square. Please bring a chair and a cut flower - all will be revealed on the morning. There'll be a children's group running for Primary School aged children, click here for all details. Click here for the event song sheet.
In the event of bad weather, we'll be meeting at The Runway.

Easter at GodFirst

Easter Day is a wonderful time of celebrating all that Jesus has done for us. Bring your friends, family and neighbours to come and meet Jesus! Sun 20th April, 10:30am

Easter Day Egg Hunt

Bring your children, grandchildren and anyone you know with under 12s to our Easter Day Egg Hunt. Sun 20th April, 9:30am. Staying on for the service at 10:30am.

Let's End Poverty Exhibition

Free Art Exhibition at The Runway from Easter Day, 20th - 27th April, open daily 10am-2pm. Why not pop in and see some inspiring and provoking art work on the theme of Poverty. Supporting Christchurch Foodbank+.

Hope Groups

Real hope is often in short supply today.... but we've found it in community. Hope Groups are primarily for explorers: a space to share life and meet Jesus. They are friendship-based, informal groups, led by Andrew and Rosie Whitman, who love curious people! The next group starts on Tues 22nd April, 7:30pm at The Runway. To find out more, click here.

New Life Groups

New Life Groups are designed for new Christians, or other disciples of Jesus, that would appreciate a journey through key foundational themes. The next course starts on Thur 8th May, 7:30pm (then moves to Tuesdays). For more info and to sign up, click here.

Summer Camp

The Summer camps have been a great time of connection and building community across the church family. We're looking forward to gathering again, without any agenda other than to be together and build friendship.
