Parent Workshop

The family team are hosting a parents' workshop on Sun 4th May, during the morning service. We'll be looking at prayer and how we pray for ourselves, our children and teens. There will be opportunity for discussion, prayer and encounter. For everyone with under 18s.

Thrive: New HIIT Class

Thrive is GodFirst’s Physical Wellbeing Ministry. We’re here to make you (and all your friends and family) healthier. We've just reduced our minimum age to 16 so, youth, we’re here for you too. We’re also delighted to announce our new HIIT class will start on Wednesday mornings from 7th May, 7:30-8:15am. If you’d like to improve your fitness, learn more here.

New Alpha Course

The next Alpha Meal is onMon 12th May, 7pm, with the course starting on Mon 19th May. Alpha is a great space for people to come, ask questions and explore the Christian faith. Please be praying about who to invite. Click herefor an e-inite.

Sunday Refreshments Team

Do you love hospitality and serving people? If so, the Sunday refreshments team would LOVE to hear from you. There's a real need to expand the team, so if you can help, please email the office.

Summer Camp

The Summer camps have been a great time of connection and building community across the church family. We're looking forward to gathering again, without any agenda other than to be together and build friendship.

Art Exhibition Feedback

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Let's End Poverty exhibition this week - it's been great to see people coming into the building to see the work. Here's a social media post about the event and a link to Katrina talking about it on Hope fm.

Short-term Mission Opportunities

There are some opportunities for us, as a church, to partner with Miro & Sneja Fic in The Balkans. If you'd love to be in a missions prayer team or are in your 18-30s and would to serve with their teens/young people, please email Doug Croucher or Lydia Tipler.

New Life Groups

New Life Groups are designed for new Christians, or other disciples of Jesus, that would appreciate a journey through key foundational themes. The next course starts on Thur 8th May, 7:30pm (then moves to Tuesdays). For more info and to sign up, click here.

GodFirst 40th Anniversary

Save the date: Sun 14th September. We are excited to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. It will be an opportunity to celebrate all that God has done over the last 40 years, catch up with some old friends, and have some food together. More details to follow.
