Youth at Newday
24 of our young people are heading to Newday (youth festival) on Monday - Saturday. Please be praying that this is an amazing time of encountering Jesus for themselves and remember to pray for the leaders!
Tuesday AM Encounter & Prayer
On Tuesday Mornings, we gather to worship, pray and encounter Jesus. We have had some very special times. These WILL continue over the Summer, so even if you've not been before, why not join us from 9-10am on Tuesday mornings at The Runway.
Summer Camp Day Visitors
As the Summer Camp approaches, we'd love to get more of an idea of day visitor numbers. If you're planning to come on Sat 23rd, Sun 24th August or both, please sign up here asap.
Summer Sundays
During August, our Sunday services will be shorter, ending around 11:45am, with the children staying in. There'll be activity sheets for primary-school-aged children and an unsupervised creche area.
The Welcome Team Needs You!
We love being a welcoming church. Do you love chatting with people and making them feel at home? If so, the welcome team really needs you! Please email the office who can tell you more about being on the team.
The Cafe
It's exciting that planning for the Cafe at The Runway is well underway, looking to open three days a week in the Autumn. The team really need some willing volunteers who would be able to serve in the Cafe. GodFirst 40th Anniversary
On Sun 14th Sept, we're celebrating 40 years of this church: first, New Covenant Church, then Family Church, now GodFirst. If anyone has any photos of key events or literature stashed away, please let the office know. More details to follow.
Lost Property
On Sunday, we will have a table with all lost property (gathered over the last year!). Please take anything that's yours, the rest will be donated to charity. Thanks!
Food Bank Needs
With the Summer holidays here, the food bank needs are: UHT Milk cartons, squash, pasta sauce jars, rice and tinned meat meals OR donating us £ and we can shop for you. Thank you so much in advance!
