Handiwork - Identity Session 2

Here is a video that reminds us of the story of Peter and when he was reinstated by Jesus. God was working in Peter’s life even through his mistakes. If you want to have a look then you will find the story in John 21.

Today we learned about the truth that if we know and love Jesus we are God’s handiwork - or in other words a masterpiece or work of art. Wow!

Remember our key verse for today is Ephesians 2 v10 ‘For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

This song is full of truth - let’s thank God for making us who we are!

Activities for this week.

• Here is a sheet full of puzzles that Deb has made for you! It also includes some questions for you to talk about as a family - why not use it as a placemat. Enjoy. Find it here

• Spend some time drawing a picture of something or someone that you really love - use colour and take time and thought over it. That’s a little bit like how God thinks of you - you are his work of art.

• This week you need to build a tower! You can make it out of anything you like - the tallest one will win a prize (you need to measure it) as well as everyone getting a chance to enter into the competition!
