God is always there from the beginning to the end – he is always with us!

Teaching

Listen to Sam’s talk on the video as she explains what we are learning about God for this morning. Sam quotes from Isaiah 43 v10 not 40 v10 as she says! Oops!

Bible Bit.

The bible verses for this morning are

Genesis 1 v1

John 1v1

Isaiah 43 v10

Revelation 1 v8

You could look them up for yourself or get an adult to help you.

If you want to write one of them out then go for it!

Activity:

As we are going to be looking at the Names of God for the next few weeks

Find out what your name means.  Does it describe you? Is it like you or not? Do you know why your parents chose it?

Activity:

Find an old penny in the house – try and find the oldest and use it to remember that God is with you.  Put the Greek letters there to remind you God is the beginning and the end.  Sam did this in her video.

Activity:

You could build tallest tower out of lego/duplo, or get dominoes and stand them up in a line so they don’t fall over – and remember God is at the start and the end!

Worship:

My Best Friend by Hillsong Kids – It’s a fun fast song about Jesus being our best friend why not to a celebratory dance in your living room!

Every Step by Nick and Becky Drake – this reminds us God is with us everystep!

Worksheets

See the worksheets that Deb Nurse has created for you – the first one for older children but you might be able to do all three!
