Baptisms on the Beach: 21st June

NO SUNDAY SERVICE AT THE RUNWAY
Join us and other BCP churches for this short baptism service on Bournemouth Beach.

The morning will start at 9:30 am with sung praise and worship, although you're very welcome to get here earlier to test out the waters and enjoy fellowship with believers from across the area.

We'll then move into some testimonies and hear God's word preached. Toward the end of the service we'll be heading into the sea for our baptisms.

Why not bring some food and stay for a picnic.

Arrive from 9 am, and head for the GodFirst banner at our designated stretch of the beach front. We'll be gathering West of Boscombe Pier. Click here for more details.

Thank you to Irene Warnock

Over the past six months, Gate 15 café has become a welcoming and valued part of our community. This has been made possible through the dedication and leadership of our volunteer café manager, Irene.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Irene for her commitment in establishing the café and guiding its day-to-day operations. Her time, energy, and enthusiasm have been instrumental in creating a warm and inviting space that reflects our church’s values of hospitality and community.
The strong foundation Irene and her team have built positions the Gate 15 café well for its next phase as we move to appoint the staff role of Catering and Café Manager. We are deeply grateful for her faithful service and the lasting impact she has made.

Prayer for Local Family

Many of you will have read the tragic news of a local family who lost their two young boys in a car accident at half-term. GodFirst have sent a gift and message of condolence, and we ask that you pray for the family at this terrible time. Paul and the family are holding a small, private Thanksgiving service on Tue 23rd June. Please be praying for them as they walk through this difficult time.

Creative Spirit Space

Calling all creatives: have you enjoyed seeing the artwork around over the last couple of weeks? Why not come along to Creative Spirit Space, once a month on Saturdays, 10am. Whether you paint, draw, take photographs, collage, knit, stitch, make jewellery, write or create videos on your phone....
WHATEVER YOU DO ...
You are SO welcome to join us. Bring your OWN materials to do what you do and be creative to release your unique authentic voice. Next session: Sat 13th June, 10 am.

Thrive is GodFirst's Physical Wellbeing ministry. We're here for you and, really importantly, your friends and community. We run 4 fitness classes a week at The Runway, catering to almost everyone. In addition, we run Couch to 5k programmes for those who'd like to try running or to get back into it. It's all taken one step at a time, with no long-term commitment.
