Some verses to read, think and pray about

Isaiah 28:16 - Because of these things, this is what the Lord God says: “I will put a stone in the ground in Jerusalem. This will be a tested stone. Everything will be built on this important and precious rock. Anyone who trusts in it will never be disappointed. ICB

Psalm 118:22 - The stone that the builders did not want became the cornerstone. The Lord did this,and it is wonderful to us. ICB

Activity for Younger Children 

Use Lego or duple bricks. Make two walls to join together to make a corner. The first time you make them, do not join them and see if it is very strong.

Try this again and build the walls linked together.

Which is strongest?? Jesus is STRONG and we can trust Him - and when we build our lives with him we can stay strong too.
