Stand Firm Week 4 - Shield of Faith

Have a listen to our theme song for the series below

• How many stories of faith can you think of in the Bible? Who can you think of who had great faith?

Here is one example - as we approach Christmas think of how Mary and Joseph showed great faith and trust in God. You can watch a video about it here.

Remember we don’t have to have really Big Faith because our faith is in a BIG GOD.

• What do you know about God that reminds you he is BIG - can you list some characteristics he has?

Sybil spoke of arrows that might attack us.

ATTACKS COME IN THE FORM OF

• Doubt – when we wonder if God is who He said He is

• Confusion – when God doesn’t do what we expected.

• Disappointment – especially if we have to wait and persevere.

One of the ways we can overcome these with faith is by worshipping
