Loving our Enemies

This morning we continued our series on how we learn to ‘Think and Live like Jesus’ today we are learning about how Jesus taught us to love our enemies and he also did the same in his life by loving his enemies. It is such a great way to stand out from the crowd and show we love Jesus.

We looked at the story of when Jesus cut off the guards ear today, here is another story from the week leading up to Easter where Jesus demonstrates his love for his enemies. He makes a meal for someone who he knows will later betray him. Who was that? Do you know?

Here is a great song about following Jesus. Serving Him, Loving those he loves.

If you want to read it again it comes from Luke 22 v47-53 - why not imagine yourself in the story. How would you have felt looking on?

Activities for this week.

• Here is the 3rd week of our Crystal Maze challenge sheets. Each week there is a Spiritual, Mental, Physical and Skill challenge for you and your family to complete. Learning, training raining and developing is an important part of our Christian lives as we learn how to Think and Live like Jesus.
